Thank you very much to Wenche for raising NOK 30,000 from sales of knitted products in her own house over the half year. A warm thanks also goes to Mette Brosvik, Britt Halhjem, Gerd Ingvaldsen og Franzie Lerch for helping out with washing of the woolen products, sorting, setting up, transporting, packing, etc. With matching in Thailand this activity will fund life changing surgery for 10 children during 2021!

For 3 years in a row, Wenche and her big group of friends and helpers have had a sales booth at Os Dagane to raise funds for surgeries. In 2020 Os Dagane could unfortunately not run as planned, due to the Corona restrictions. This didn’t stop Wenche from fundraising, she just had to find another way to do it. She then decided to set up a pop-up shop on the first floor of her house using 4 rooms to spread out all the knitted products she had and then invite customers to come by to shop. With this, she was able to still keep all the Corona restrictions in place and at the same time raise funds. From November 2020 to March 2021 she has had a steady number of visitors coming by her house to buy socks, mittens, and hats. THANK YOU very much to Wenche and her friends and helpers for all the hours and effort they have put into this!! This is of great help in our work to give many more children with cleft lip & palate their surgery. Way to go!
