In May 2011 Kids Action for Kids together with Dtac financed surgeries for 50 children at Sappasitiprasong Hospital, Ubon Ratchathani province of Thailand.
Kids Action for Kids brought several volunteers to the medical mission, who played with the children before their surgeries, observed surgery in the operating rooms, and visited the children who had received surgeries in the recovery ward.
The hospital also arranged a press conference where Governor of Ubon Ratchathani province, the management of the hospital, Head of the Plastic Surgery department, Head of Dtac CR department and Chairman of Kids Action for Kids, Haakon Brekke, gave presentations.
