Kids Action for Kids, OST and financial partners funded an ongoing surgery mission for 150 children at Maharat Nakorn Chiang Mai Hospital, Thailand, that kicked off on August 8th 2019.

119 children received surgery at our third mission in Pyin Oo Lwin together with Operation Smile Thailand and financial partners. This marks KAFK’s 18th mission overall, and makes the grand total of surgeries on these missions just over 1,500.

138 children born with cleft lip and/or palate got their life-changing surgery at Pyin Oo Lwin Hospital in Myanmar in May 2018. The surgeries were conducted by Operation Smile Thailand’s (OST) medical volunteers and funded by Kids Action for Kids and other OST sponsors.

A handful of KAFK volunteers visited the homes of three of the children who would later receive a surgery during Sisaket medical mission.

After six years of helping children in Thailand born with a cleft lip, cleft palate or both, Kids Action for Kids took a new step in its history and provided with Benchachinda Group, Conexus AS and Telenor Myanmar 142 surgeries in Myanmar.

In June 2012 the ongoing surgery of 85 kids started at Sri Nakarin Hospital in Khonkaen Province. All the 85 surgeries were completed by the end of the year.
