Kids Action for Kids and OST funded an ongoing medical surgery mission for 100 children at Chonburi Hospital in Chonburi, Thailand, in August 2022.
Kids Action for Kids and OST funded an ongoing medical surgery mission for 50 children at Chiang Rai Prachanukroh Hospital in Chiang Rai, Thailand, in March 2022.
Kids Action for Kids, OST and financial partners funded an ongoing medical surgery mission for 100 children at Maharaj Nakorn Hospital in Chiang Mai, Thailand that started in October 2021. Due to COVID-19, the ongoing mission was kicked off online over video-call.

The long planned medical mission at Pyin Oo Lwin Hospital was cancelled due to the situation in the country with Covid 19 and military coup. We are thinking about all our friends and patients in Myanmar and hope for a better future.
This is our 20th mission together with OST, and brings the grand total surgeries funded to over 1,750! Our team will not be traveling to the hospital this time, in order to minimize any Covid-19 related risks.
The OST medical missions have been postponed until the situation improves, in order to protect patients, volunteers, and the local populations in the rural locations the missions take place. We will update you as soon as new dates are decided. Stay safe!
KAFK celebrates its 10-year anniversary this year! Together with our supporters and partners we have been able to fund 1,660 surgeries over the course of 19 medical missions throughout Thailand and Myanmar.
150 children will receive the life-changing surgery they need at this ongoing medical mission at Maharaj Nakorn Hospital in Chiang Mai. This is KAFK’s 19th mission, and brings the grand total of surgeries we have funded together with Operation Smile Thailand and partners to over 1,600.
119 children received the life-changing surgery they needed at our third mission in Pyin Oo Lwin together with Operation Smile Thailand.
Another 100 children will receive cleft lip/palate surgery at the ongoing medical mission at Maharat Nakhon Ratchasima Hospital in Korat, Thailand. This is the 17th time KAFK has helped fund an OST mission.
138 children born with cleft lip and/or palate got their life-changing surgery at Pyin Oo Lwin Hospital in Myanmar in May 2018. The surgeries were conducted by Operation Smile Thailand’s (OST) medical volunteers and funded by Kids Action for Kids and other OST sponsors.
May 6th we will once again head to Pyin Oo Lwin, Myanmar with Operation Smile Thailand for another round of surgeries. We are happy to be back in Pyin Oo Lwin, as we know there is plenty of work to be done, and we are always excited at the opportunity of giving a chance to those who need it most.

At Operation Smile Thailand’s 20th anniversary celebration, KAFK received a “Honorary Partner 2017” Award for continued support over many years. The award was presented by OST’s Honorary Chairman, Khun Anand Panyarachun, former Prime Minister of Thailand.
Kids Action for Kids has now funded over 1,000 life-changing surgeries together with our partners, since we started in 2009. This is a huge milestone for our organization, not to mention for the more than 1,000 children and families that have gotten a new life. Thank you to all our supporters and volunteers for making this possible.
Kids Action for Kids went with Operation Smile on their first medical mission ever into the remote areas of northern Thai province, Mae Hong Son. This time many of the patients were from hill tribes and refugee camps.
After six years of helping children in Thailand, Kids Action (KAFK) took a new step in its history and and went to Myanmar on 14-20 March to help children born with a cleft lip, cleft palate or both.
KAFK was invited to the Norway-Asia Business Summit 2014 in Bangkok to be the summit’s Corporate Social Responsibility Project. KAFK Chairman Martin Brekke presented the organization at a dinner and KAFK were present with a stand outside the summit conference room.
